Препис царског берата о правима чувара барутане тврђаве Јајце из 1709. године

Abstract

У раду су преведени, критички приређени и објављени документи који се односе на потврђивање војне службе чуварима барутане тврђаве Јајце. Ради се о берату којим је њихова служба потврђена од султана Ахмеда III, као и двема признаницама у којима је наведен износ њихових плата. У Предговору је објашњен административни поступак потврђивања војника у служби, као и начин њиховог плаћања. Поред превода на српски језик, дат је и текст докумената на турском језику, транскрибован на савремени турски правопис.

The Historical archive of Bulgaria (BIA) in the National library Ivan Vazov in Plovdiv keeps the transcription of the imperial Berat given to the soldiers, keepers of the powder-magazine of the fortress in Jajce, in the Bosnian ejalet which confirms their service and settles the yearly salaries. Alongside the Berat, there are two receipts from 1709 which state the sum of their salaries, the source of the money which comes from dzizja (poll-tax) taken from the Christians who lived on the territory of Jajce. The receipts also contain the signatures of the witnesses which confirm that the copies are authentic. The mentioned Berat and the receipts are important first-rate sources on the military service in Bosnian ejalet and how it was regulated because they give us an insight into the complete administrative procedure. Besides, the Berat also confirms that the Osmanic Empire, after the Great War of Vienna, tried to organize the conditions on the frontier territories as it is the case with the salaries intended for the military service. Documents are critically arranged and prepared for the publication in Serbian and Turkish.
