Драгољуб Јовановић и Милован Ђилас: сукоб политичких концепција

Abstract

At the end of the Second World War in Yugoslavia, the process of revolutionary change of power and the transformation of the socio-political system began. On the renewed political scene after the liberation, there was a sharp conflict between two political and ideological concepts, a new revolutionary and an old parliamentary-democratic. Among the most eminent representatives of both sides were Dragoljub Jovanović, leader of the People’s Peasant Party and Milovan Djilas, the leading party ideologist and member of the CC of the CPY. Through the public activity of Jovanović and Djilas, and their conflicts, a clear picture is drawn between the two political-ideological conceptions, from which the revolutionary conception would come out as a definite winner, and the parliamentarydemocratic would be defeated. In this paper we will try to present the character of the conflict of these conceptions through an example of the conflicts of mentioned historical figures.
