Abstract

Ово је лично сећање аутора на делове живота, међусобне сусрете и повремени заједнички рад са српским књижевним критичарем Бориславом Михајловићем Михизом (1922–1997). Док је био угледан критичар НИН-а, Михајловић је својим даром обновио јаку журналисичку импре- сионистничку традицију у српској књижевности и био њен последњи изданак. У тексту се говори о заједничким пријатељима у јавном и политичком деловању интелигенције, о сарадњи у опозиционом Одбору за одбрану слободе мисли и изражавања (1982–1990), у илеганом Крунском савету прогнаног југословенског принца Александра Карађорђевића и о демократскским иницијативама српских интелектауаца, које су 2000. годне довеле до пада комунизма у Србији.

This is the author’s personal recollection of the parts of life, encounters and occasional mutual work with the Serbian literary critic Borislav Mihajlovic Mihiz (1922–1997). While he was a prominent critic of the Belgrade magazine NIN, Mihajlovic renewed journalistic impressionistic tradition in the Serbian literature with his talent and he was its last offshoot. The essay talks about common friends in public and political activities of Serbian intelligence, cooperation in the opposition Committee for the defense of freedom of thought and expression (1982–1990), in the illegal Privy Council of the exiled Yugoslavian prince Aleksandar Karađorđević and about democratic initiatives of Serbian intellectuals, which brought about the fall of communism in Serbia in 2000.
