Когда ОНИ это уже МЫ, а когда по-прежнему ОНИ? : Устный дискурс венгерских сербов

Abstract

The paper is based on the ethnolinguistic field survey of the Serbs in Hungary (Szigetcsép) conducted in 2001 by the research team of the Institute for Balkan Studies, SASA, Belgrade. The Serbs in Szigetcsép (Hungary) are demographically endangered population on the verge of assimilation, living for centuries in Serbian Diaspora surrounded by German and Hungarian ethnic groups. Therefore, they appear to be an extremely intriguing ethnic group who maintains versatile interethnic relations and who employs diverse discursive strategies for copying with sensitive topics of the «Other». Accordingly, two main identity and discursive devices were identified: the first «embracing device» when «they» turn into «us» (concerning other Serbs, Bulgarians or Croats); and the second, «keeping distance device» when «us» are in danger of turning into «them» (concerning Germans and Hungarians). Furthermore, the analysis has focused on the narrative constructs, labeled as «collective narratives», based upon «collective memory» patterns, and ethnical stereotypes.

Предметом анализа этой статьи является дискурс сербов из Венгрии на тему «мы / они». Особое внимание уделено способам (ре)презентации этнического «другого». В дискурсе чипских сербов, как меньшинства и, в демографическом смысле, группы, находящейся под весьма серьезной угрозой ассимиляции, наблюдаются, во-первых, механизмы «присвоения другого» (других сербов, болгар, хорватов) и тогда категория «они» перемещается по направлению к «мы», и, во-вторых, дискурсивные механизмы сохранения строгой дистанции по отношению к «другому» (к немцам, венграм), поскольку в противном для сербов возможно только одно: «мы» станем «они».
