Неки примери укрштања романске и оријенталне лексике

Abstract

Some characteristic examples cf. intersection of Roman and Oriental loanwords in Serbian language are analyzed in this work. The lexicon was examined at one point in Dubrovniks rear. It was found that (because of already well-known historical circumstances that lasted for centuries), two urban surroundings at the same time influenced usage of large number of Roman and Oriental loanwords in all aspects. It was also found that Roman and Oriental loanwords do not overlap but complement each other in some sorts of pairs. A lot of non-standard Roman and Oriental loanwords can still be found in active (or passive) vocabulary, but there is the tendency of substituting them for Serbian words or for the standard lexicon of other origin.

У раду се анализирају неки карактеристични примери укрштања романских и оријенталних позајмљеница у српском језику. Лексика је испитивана у једном селу у дубровачком залеђу.
