Abstract
Two reflexes of the IE cluster *-ln- are generally recognised in Greek: the assimilation of *-ln- to -λλ-, and the vowel lengthening in front of *-l-, prompted by the loss of *-n-. A reassessement of the relevant Greek material is proposed.
