Још једном о глаголу требати: теорија, употреба и норма

Abstract

The paper deals with the syntactic behaviour of the verb trebati ‘need / should / ought to’ in the cases when it requires a verbal complement, and with the standard language norm that regulates that behaviour. The author summarizes and comments on the main ideas from the existing descriptive and prescriptive literature on the verb under examination, providing relevant examples. The author then proposes a new norm with regard to the verb trebati and raises a broader theoretical issue concerning impersonal constructions in general.

Предмет рада је синтаксичко понашање глагола требати кад он захтева допуну у виду глаголске јединице, и књижевнојезичка норма у вези с тим пона шањем. Ауторка сажима и коментарише главне идеје из досадашње граматичке и нормативистичке литературе о том глаголу, наводећи релевантне примере. На крају предлаже нову норму у вези с њим, отварајући и једно теоријско питање у вези с безличним конструкцијама уопште.
