Именица криза у савременом српском језику

Abstract

У раду се анализирају граматичке, лексичке и текстуалне карактеристике именице криза. Ова именица се одређује као „кључна реч актуелног тренутка“.

The noun crisis, not only in Serbian language, now days belongs to the ‘key words of the current moment.’ The characteristics that one word must have in order to be defined as a key word are the three aspects of the word existence – textual, lexical and grammatical. The textual aspect is manifested trough the frequency of word usage, especially in the newspaper headlines, as the central spot of the mass communication texts. The status of the key word raises the activation of the derivative potential – the new derivates appear, the sphere of their usage and semantics expand. The number of derivates today is pretty large: postkrizni, poslekrizni, pretkrizni, prekrizni, nakonkrizni, međukrizni, unutarkrizni, dokrizni, megakriza, megakrizni, superkriza, velekriza, protivkrizni, krizologija etc. The noun crisis, as the ’key word of the current moment’ is also characterized by its abillity to produce a great number of texts. The word crisis itself has become the subject of meny reflections. The combinatorial posibillities of this noun have been significantly increesed during the last few decades. The number of the phrases containing the noun crisis is huge, and meny of them are very frequent. The examples listed show unequivocally that the noun crisis is a key word of the current moment. Considering the state of things in the world and in our country as well, it is most likely that it will maintain that status for a long period of time.
