Сербское гимнографическое творчество конца ХХ — начала ХХI веков

Abstract

This paper deals with contemporary Serbian hymnography. We learn in short about the life and hymnography works of Serbian authors who have written and are still writing hymnography texts. Most of them live and create their works today. Some of them wrote just one or two hymnography texts and they do not deal with it any more. Others continue creating. Only two Serbian hymnographers wrote in Church Slavonic language. One of them, the author of this paper, still writes, but he has not published his works in the printed form yet. Some Greek and Russian hymnographers wrote the services to Serbian saints. Although the hymnography work in the Serbian Orthodox Church has not been sufficiently organized and officially supported, the hymnography texts writing is relatively developed. What we find particularly important is the fact that there are the new texts in Church Slavonic, and not only in Serbian, although the quantity of the later is much bigger.
