Црквенословенски језик у систему образовања у Србији

Abstract

This paper discusses the presence of the Church Slavonic Language in Serbian schools, from its emergence in the eighteenth century, up to the present day. Apart from being the official language of service in the Serbian Orthodox Church, this language has tremendous importance to Serbian culture and education. In the first schools in Vojvodina this was the language in which lectures of the time were given. Then it appeared in some schools as a separate course, while elements of this language were subsequently taught within the courses Christian Science or Religious Science and Church Chanting. Since the cancellation of this course in state schools, the Church Slavonic Language has been studied only in seminaries and divinity colleges.

У раду се говори о црквенословенском језику у Србији, његовом појављивању, а затим и учењу и уопште присуству овог језика у школама у Србији кроз историју, како основним и средњим, тако и у богословијама и на Богословском факултету.
