Особине стереотипа мајка на материјалу тезаурусног речника савременог српског језика

Abstract

Based on the lexicographical material for the thesaurus Dictionary of Serbo- Croatian Literary and Vernacular Language of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the paper shows that the core of the stereotype MOTHER in the Serbian language is organized in the form of zones with a vast number of basic models and semantic subcategories, facets, that, on the periphery of the stereotype, these open-ended categories are being fi lled radially and expanded, accommodating new models and facets outside the human sphere, simultaneously connecting this concept with other concepts from the sphere of other entities, objects, and abstract ideas.
