Предлог за модернизацију рада на Речнику САНУ

Abstract

У раду сe са лингвистичког и лексикографског становишта разматрају питања у вези са дигитализацијом постојећих лексикографских ресурса Речника САНУ ради унапређења рада на овом речнику. На примеру обраде једне одреднице (глагола видети) представљен је нацрт могуће дигитализације у њеним најзначајнијим фазама: фази уношења грађе у базу података, фази анотације грађе у бази и фази ревизије обрађене лексикографске одреднице на основу нових података, добијених из базе.

This article is intended to show that, in the modern age, marked by the incorporation of computer technology into linguistic research, the digitization of lexicographic resources is the only valid method of modernizing and improving the lexicographic work – the compilation of The SANU Dictionary in particular, and other Serbian lexicographic projects, as well. We have pointed out the necessity and urgency of transcribing the hard copy of the Dictionary along with its corpus into the digital form, one of the reasons being the preservation of these linguistic resources, which are of great value for the Serbian language and culture. From a linguistic and lexicographic standpoint, in the first part of the article we elaborated on certain issues to do with methods of digitizing the Dictionary in the current working environment and also considered the possibility of parallel revision of compiled entries. The proposed procedures have been verified in the latter part of the article, in the analysis of a sample word from the Dictionary, the Serbian verb видети (“to see”), which serves as an illustration of our plan of modernization in its critical stages: language data collection and the building of a database, followed by a syntactic and semantic annotation of collected data, as well as a revision of compiled entries based on new information derived from the annotated database.
