Вредности у концептуализацији речи живот и смрт говорника српског језика

Abstract

In this paper we analyzed lexemes life and death and derived words with the same root. It was shown that, at the global level, life represents an absolute positive value, and death an absolute negative value in Serbian culture. When it comes to specific characteristics, there can be certain deviations from the basic model – when life is difficult, death is perceived as a way out, but that does not disturb the very stable, stereotypical image of life and death, which is deeply embedded in the value system of the contemporary Serbian language community.

Полазећи од становишта да је језик извор информација о вредностима, у раду се анализирају лексеме живот и смрт, као називи вредности, и друге јединице из њихових творбених гнезда. Циљ разматрања је открити како говорници српског језика вреднују живот и смрт на глобалном нивоу, а како на нивоу конкретних особина.
