Реализам и реализми – промена метаоквира у књижевноисторијском разумевању реализма

Abstract

У реферату ће се навести неколико доминантних књижевнисторијских тумачења реализма као књижевности одређене поетике и одређеног раздобља. Пратиће се промене у дефинисању граница, типова и обележја епохе зависно од концепта проучавалаца (у распону од програмских текстова Светозара Марковића којима се антиципира реалистичка књижевност, до савремених студија у којима се преиспитује одрживост самог појма реализам и негира реалистичко писмо). Посебна пажња ће се посветити диференцијацији пракси мишљења и анализирања књижевноуметничких дела које су се смењивале у дијахронијском распону од 60-их година 19. века до прве деценије 21. века. Новине у приступу реализму тумачићемо преко смењивања метаоквира обележених позитивизмом, структурализмом и постструктурализмом. Наш задатак биће да унутар једне дискурзивне формације именоване појмом „реализам“ препознамо концепте и теоријске изборе.

The paper analyses different conceptualizations of realism as a literary historical direction. It looks into several stages of its development: realism before realism, which manifested itself through a negative critique of the existing sentimental and romantic literature and through parody; programme stage of realism; stratification of realism; disintegration. Special attention is paid to “new realisms”: surrealism, magical realism, fantastic realism. The author has used Roman Jakobson’s study On Artistic Realism published in 1962, as a starting point for understanding different realisms. Three hermeneutic frameworks have been singled out for the understanding of realism that was constituted as a direction in the 19th century. The first one is based on positivism and appeared in several highly variable forms: realism of the Marković type, realism of the Skerlić type and socialist realism. Its essence is based on “singing and thinking”, understanding of the text in terms of its relationship to the outside world. The second meta-framework is marked by formalistic and structuralist theories, interpretation of realistic texts through structures and conventions. The third one, the poststructuralist meta framework, has been more about the negations of key poetic principles than the establishment of alternative meanings (negation of non-textual relations, authors, and the communicative power of language).
