Религијске праксе у комунистичкој Југославији: прослављање Божића у цркви Св. Ђорђа у Титовом Ужицу 1956. године

Abstract

Комунистичка партија Југославије донела је 1947. године директиву којом се забрањује прослава верских празника ван круга цркве, док је путем поверљивог расписа 1948. године Председништво владе ФНРЈ упутило наређење да се католички и православни Божић више званично не признају. Црквено прослављање Божића у периоду након доношења наведених забрана посматра се на примеру обележавања „најрадоснијег дана свештенства и народа” у цркви Св. Ђорђа у Титовом Ужицу 1956. године. Компаративном анализом упоређена су три наратива: опис црквеног прослављања Божића забележен у Летопису ужичких цркава и парохија из 1939. године, опис црквеног прослављања Божића забележен у Летопису ужичких цркава и парохија из 1956. годинеи опис црквеног прослављања Божића у цркви Покрова Пресвете Богородице у Јабланици 1958. године забележен у разговору који је ауторка текста водила 2018. године с испитаником који је од 1958. године као свештеник службовао у црквеној општини Доброселица. На основу уочених сличности и разлика у црквеном прослављању Божића у два временска контекста (предсоцијалистички и социјалистички) и два просторна (градски и сеоски) изводе се закључци о импликацијама специфичних амбијенталних друштвено-економских односа државе и цркве у социјалистичком уређењу.

The Communist Party of Yugoslavia passed in 1947 a guideline prohibiting the celebration of religious holidays outside the church, while the government of the FPRY sent an order, through a confidential circular in 1948, for the Catholic and Orthodox Christmas not to be officially recognized any longer. Church celebration of Christmas in the period after the adoption of these prohibitions is observed on the occasion of marking the „most joyous day of the priesthood and people” in St. George’s Church in Titovo Užice in 1956. Three narratives are compared with comparative analysis: a description of the church celebration of Christmas recorded in the Chronicle of the Užice churches and parishes of 1939, a description of the church celebration of Christmas recorded in the Chronicle of the Užice churches and parishes of 1956, and a description of the church celebration of Christmas in the Church of the Holy Virgin in Jablanica in 1958, recorded in a conversation conducted by the author of the text in 2018 with a respondent who served from 1958 as a priest in the church municipality of Dobroselica. Based on the observed similarities and differences in church celebration of Christmas in two temporal contexts (pre-socialist and socialist) and two spatial (urban and rural), conclusions are drawn about the implications of specific ambient socio-economic relations between the state and the church in socialist organization.

En 1947 le Parti communiste de Yougoslavie avait donné une directive interdisant la célébration des fêtes religieuses en dehors du cercle de l’église, alors que par une note confidentielle de 1948 la Présidence du gouvernement de la RFPY avait prononcé l’ordre que les fêtes de Noël catholique et orthodoxe ne seraient plus officiellement reconnues en tant que telles. La célébration ecclésiastique de Noël dans la période d’après le prononcé des interdictions évoquées est analysée sur l’exemple de la célébration « de la journée la plus joyeuse pour le clergé et pour le peuple » à l’Église de Saint Georges à Titovo Užice en 1956. L’analyse comparative porte sur trois récits: la description de la célébration ecclésiastique de Noël notée dans Les Annales des églises et des paroisses d’Užice de 1939, la description de la célébration de Noël dans les mêmes Annales datant de 1956, et, en dernier lieu, la description de la célébration à l’Église de l’Intercession de la Vierge Marie de Jablanica en 1958, notée dans un entretien mené en 2018 par l’auteure de ce texte avec un sujet interrogé qui avait officié en tant que curé dès 1958 dans la commune ecclésiastique Dobroselica. À partir des ressemblances et des différences relevées dans la célébration ecclésiastique de Noël dans deux contextes temporels (présocialiste et socialiste) et deux contextes spatiaux (urbain et rural) sont tirées des conclusions sur les implications des rapports spécifiques socio-économiques de l’État et de l’Église dans le régime socialiste.
