Дијалекатско и покрајинско у прозним делима Бранка Ћопића

Abstract

Задатак овога рада јесте да утврди које се дијалекатске говорне особине и која покрајинска лексика могу уочити у Ћопићевим прозним делима и покаже у коликој мери су оне осликале дијалекат Ћопићевог родног краја, а у коликој обогатиле српски књижевни језик.

Dialect spoken in Podgrmeč, and majority of Copić’s heroes are from that area, is part of the Eastern Herzegovinian dialect, which is at the foundation of the Serbian literary language, but in some parts it differs from it. This article gives an overview of dialectic traits of the language spoken by Copic’s heroes. It was established that the storyteller in Copic’s works always uses literary language, also that the children novels are completely written in literary language, with rare dialectic aspects that are found in conversational style of the literary language. Copic’s works are getting their local colour from a very rich and versatile country vocabulary, which deserves to be presented in a form of a special dictionary. Also Copic’s overwhelming vocabulary needs to find its place m a separate lexicographic issue.
