AB  - Four samples containing magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (MIONs) of various sizes are prepared employing a simple low-temperature method of oxidative precipitation from FeCl2∙4H2O-NaOH-NaNO3 aqueous solution. For the preparation of two samples, the usual oxidation-precipitation synthesis protocol is modified by using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) chelating agent as a stabilizer of the Fe2+ ions in a solution, which results in the partial capping of the prepared MIONs with EDTA molecules. Three out of four samples are subjected to citric acid (CA) functionalization in the post synthesis protocol. Structural and magnetic properties of the synthesized MIONs are assessed using various experimental techniques (XRD, TEM, Fourier transform infrared, dynamic light scattering, Mössbauer, and SQUID). The average size of spherical-like MIONs is tuned from 7 nm to 38 nm by changing the synthesis protocol. Their room temperature saturation magnetization, M s, is in the range of 43 to 91 emu g−1. Magnetic heating ability, expressed via specific absorption rate value, which ranges from 139 to 390 W/gFe, is discussed in relation to their structural and magnetic properties and the possible energy dissipation mechanisms involved. The best heating performance is exhibited by the sample decorated with EDTA and with a bimodal size distribution with average particle sizes of 14 and 37 nm and M s = 87 emu g−1. Though this sample contains particles prone to form aggregates, capping with EDTA provides good colloidal stability of this sample, thus preserving the magnetic heating ability. It is demonstrated that two samples, consisting of 7 nm-sized CA- or 14 nm-sized EDTA/CA-functionalized superparamagnetic MIONs, with a similar hydrodynamic radius, heat in a very similar way in the relatively fast oscillating alternating current magnetic field, f = 577 kHz.

Application of FES in early phases of rehabilitation (acute and sub-acute) has a carry-over effect in decreasing motor impairment. FES is applied to the peripheral nervous system to activate the nerves and muscles, generate functional movements, and activate efferent and afferent neural pathways to close the biological motor-sensory loop. This promotes brain plasticity, the most important mechanism in rehabilitation after brain injuries. In the case of Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI), the functional recovery is less pronounced; however, the influence on the reduction of secondary complications of paralysis (e.g., loss of muscle bulk and strength, pressure sores, cardio-vascular deterioration, diminished gastric and urinary functioning, spasticity, reduced range of movement in joints, etc.) is pronounced. The most common applications of non-invasive FES are the restoration of standing and walking, the generation of cyclic movements for pedaling or rowing, and manipulation and grasping.

AB  - The study examines the model of the establishment of a Serbian political, spiritual and scriptural center in Serres during three decades of Serbian rule (1345–1371). The model is considered against two circumstances: historical – the anathema of the Serbian ruler, patriarch and archbishops, and geographical – the proximity of Serres to Mount Athos and the Bulgarian Empire. There are three important focuses of the work: the Four Gospels of Metropolitan Jacob, the books donated to the Sinai monks and the activity of monk Isai in the circle of secular and ecclesiastical aristocracy in Serres. By pointing out certain characteristics of the book of Metropolitan Jacob, the unique program of the Serbian ruler and the Serbian church is sketched. Although exceptional individuals dedicated to literature stayed in Serres, the connection with the scriptoria on Mount Athos and those in the central part of the Serbian Empire raises the question to what extent we can speak of the existence of a developed Slavic scriptorium in Serres.

AB  - In 1956, the Institute of Archaeology and the National Museum in Belgrade 
carried out excavations at the site of Supska, near Ćuprija, in Central Serbia. Based on 
the material culture findings, the site is mostly known as a Late Neolithic one; however, archaeological findings from other periods were discovered too. In the 1956 excavations, the cultural layers, and archaeological features with the Vinča culture archaeological materials were examined, as well as one grave, marked as Grave 1. The results of this excavation have been previously published in one monograph; however, an anthropological analysis of the individual found in Grave 1 has not been conducted before. In this paper, we present the results of contextual, bioanthropological, stable isotopes and C14 analyses of human skeletal remains found in Grave 1. The results showed that a young adult, who had experienced nonspecific metabolic stress during childhood, as evidenced by traces of linear enamel hypoplasia and porotic hyperostosis, was buried in this grave. AMS date revealed that this individual lived between 1280–1390 cal. AD, while the results of the stable isotope analyses suggested that it had mixed diet 
based on C4  plants (such as millet) and/or C3 plants, with larger amounts of animal 
protein, possible deriving from freshwater fish.

ли и под којим околностима говорници испуштају субјекат исказан личном заменицом
у реченици. Будући да је српски језик про-дроп језик, тј. карактерише га изостављање
субјекта, а у енглеском је употреба субјекта обавезна, очекивали смо да ће, услед језичког
трансфера, говорници хиперпродуковати личне заменице у функцији субјекта. Испитаници су основношколског и средњошколског узраста, а контролну групу чине монолингвали истог узраста. Истраживање је показало да у директним одговорима на питање као и набрајању глаголских радњи завичајни говорници више изостављају про-дроп од монолингвала, али да је то генерално стабилна појава у њиховом језику, као и да нема непрагматичких употреба про-дропа.
AB  - In this paper, we study the pro-drop parameter in the subject position in English speakers of Serbian as heritage language. The aim of the paper is to determine whether and under what circumstances speakers omit the subject expressed by a personal pronoun in a sentence. Since the Serbian language is a pro-drop language, i.e. it is characterized by the omission of the subject, and in English the use of the subject is obligatory, we expected that, due to linguistic transfer, speakers would hyperproduce personal pronouns as subjects. The participants are elementary and high schoolers and the control group are monolinguals of the same age. The research showed that in direct answers to questions as well as clauses with action verbs, heritage speakers do not use pro-drop more often than monolinguals, but that this is generally a stable parameter in their language, and that there are no non-pragmatic uses of pro-drop.

AB  - Rad proučava manipulatornu moć koju jezik može imati u političkom diskursu, odnosno u političkom govoru. Prema klasifikaciji Mišić Ilić i Radulović (2015), a koja se zasniva na kombinovanju teorija Ostina (1962) i Serla (2001), proučavani su komisivi i ekspresivi u govoru Aleksandra Vučića održanog u Kosovskoj Mitrovici 9. 9. 2018. godine. Cilj rada je da prikaže moć jezika da manipuliše slušaocem, strateškom upotrebom navedenih govornih činova, koja bi ilustrovala jedno ideološko kontrastiranje: prikrivanje negativnih strana govornika, kao i njegove lične odgovornosti, a isticanje pozitivnih aspekata svega za šta se govornik zalaže. Govorni činovi su klasifikovani po svojim eksplicitnim i implicitnim formama. Rezultati pokazuju da se češće upotrebljavaju implicitne forme, a one ujedno ilustruju postupak distanciranja govornika od direktnog preuzimanja odgovornosti za akcije na koje se obavezuje. Eksplicitne forme se pak mogu tumačiti tek u širem kontekstu izričaja, u kome se govornik obavezuje na nedovoljno konkretno delovanje.
AB  - The paper studies the manipulative power of language in political discourse, more precisely, in political speech. According to the classification of Mišić Ilić and Radulović (2015), which is based on the combination of Austin (1962) and Searle’s (2001) theories, commissives and expressives were studied in a speech given by Aleksandar Vučić, held in Kosovska Mitrovica on September 9, 2018. The aim of the paper is to show the power of language to manipulate the listener, through the strategic use of these two speech acts, which would illustrate an ideological contrast: concealing the speaker’s flaws, as well as their personal responsibility and involvement, while emphasizing the positive aspects of everything the speaker stands for. Speech acts are classified according to their explicit and implicit forms. The results show that implicit forms are more dominant, and at the same time they illustrate how the speaker dissociates from directly taking responsibility for the actions he commits to. Explicit forms, on the other hand, can only be interpreted in the wider context of the utterance, in which the speaker commits to taking insufficiently concrete action.

The same scribe's signature is observed in the manuscripts Dečani № 127 and № 119, which are also connected by the typology and a similar dating. The goal is to compare the distinctive features of both manuscripts and the handwriting of the 14th century scribes who contributed to the copying. AB  - В статье анализируются основные направления в выделении и классификации 
типов текста религиозной публицистики. В ходе анализа было установлено, что религиозная 
публицистика активно заимствует и творчески перерабатывает такие традиционные типы 
текстов, как статья, интервью, заметка и др. Одновременно с этим в религиозной 
публицистике активно используются характерные для религиозной ораторики типы текстов 
проповедь, экзегетический комментарий и др.
AB  - The article analyzes the main directions in the selection and classification of types 
of religious journalism text. In the course of the analysis, it was found that religious journalism 
actively borrows and creatively reworks such traditional types of texts as an article, interview, note, 
etc. At the same time, religious journalism actively uses the types of texts characteristic of religious 
oratory – sermon, exegetical commentary, etc.

AB  - У раду се разматрају могућности планирања будућих ак-тивности часописа Новоречје у контексту актуелних тенденција у области неолошких лексиколошких проучавања као и у обла-сти савремене онлајн лексикографије, која поред теоријских и практичних резултата корпусно засноване израде речника и њи-ховог објављивања у дигиталном онлајн формату, обухвата и новије трендове објављивања научно-популарних текстова на блогу и изборе за реч године, с циљем промоције и популариза-ције језика и језичке науке како би се језик и његово проучава-ње приближили њиховим корисницима. Истакнуте су каракте-ристике и значај манифестације избор за реч године која се одр-жава у бројним језицима и земљама дужи низ година и образло-жена потреба да се слична манифестација покрене у српском је-зику у оквиру активности часописа Новоречје. На тај начин би се, поред осталог, прикупљали релевантни подаци значајни за праћење и анализирање актуелног стања савременог српског живог језика и подстакла бројна друга истраживања у вези са лексичким системом српског језика и описивањем његовог развоја.
AB  - The paper discusses the planning possibilities of the future activi-ties of the journal "Novorečje" in the context of current trends in the field of neological lexicological studies as well as the field of modern online lexicography. This also includes recent trends – writing of scientific and popular texts on the blog and choice of -the "Word of the Year". The profile of the journal "Novoreč-je" was presented first, and then the characteristics and the signi-ficance of the "Word of the Year". It has been held in numerous languages and countries for many years. Therefore, the need to start a similar event in the Serbian language as part of "Novoreč-je" activities is also underlined and initiated.

AB  - The paper deals with the semantic-derivational analysis of words derived
from personal names and surnames of political figures in the Serbian language. It
points out their derivational and semantic types and their cognitive-pragmatic motivation for formation. The paper demonstrates continuity in the creation of this segment of the Serbian lexicon and points to its accelerated growth in the recent developmental period, as well as changes related to the emergence and increased productivity of new derivational types. It also addresses the trend of heightened expression of subjective meanings with a negative connotation, pejorative and ironic
undertones, which are characteristic of contemporary political discourse.

AB  - В статье представлено понятие-концепт государство на систематическом
языковом материале. Установлено, что концептуализация понятия <государство> в сербском
языке включает политические, правовые и институциональные аспекты, которые
профилируют пространственный и социальный сегменты языкового образа этого термина.
Также показано, что само употребление лексемы государство с учетом ее системных
отношений имеет скорее статус термина, чем лексемы, которая принадлежит к общему
лексическому пласту современного сербского языка.
AB  - The notion-concept of <state> based on systematic language material is presented
in this article. It is established, the conceptualization of the notion of <state> in the Serbian
language includes political, legal, and institutional aspects, they profile the spatial and social
segments of the linguistic mage of this term. It is also shown, the usage of the lexeme state,
considering its systemic relations has more the status of a term than a lexeme which belongs to the general lexical layer of the modern Serbian language.

AB  - У раду се реконструише свакодневна језичка слика појма дебела особа у српском одн. grubas у пољском језику на подацима добијеним методом анкете, у складу са теоријско-методолошким приступом когнитивне етнолингвистике. Циљ је да се открију конотативни, субјективни елементи у садржају овог стереотипа који се заснивају на вредновању и доживљају овог појма од стране савремених носилаца поменутих језика, те да се на основу упоређивања добијених података одговори на питање о његовој универзалности односно културној специфичности. Анализа је показала да се начини именовања, перцепције и ставови испитаника према анализираном стереотипу значајније не разликују у савременој пољској и српској лингвокултури, што иде у прилог закључку о његовој универзалности
AB  - The article reconstructs the linguistic picture of the notion “fat person” in Serbian and Polish (дебела особа in Serbian, grubas in Polish) according to the theoretical-methodological approach of cognitive ethnolinguistics and based on survey data. The goal is to reveal the stereotype’s connotative, subjective elements, which are based on the evaluation and experience of this term by contemporary native speakers of the languages, and to answer the question of its universality and cultural specificity by comparing clues obtained in the survey. The analysis showed that respondents’ ways of naming, perceptions, and attitudes towards the analyzed stereotype do not differ significantly in contemporary Polish and Serbian linguoculture, which supports the claim of its universality.
AB  - V prispevku so predstavljeni elementi vsakodnevne jezikovne slike pojma debela oseba, tj. debela osoba / debeljko v srbščini oziroma grubas v poljščini, pri čemer smo podatke zbrali s pomočjo ankete, in sicer v skladu s teoretično-metodološkim pristopom kognitivne etnolingivstike. Cilj raziskave je, da se s pomočjo analize poimenovanj za osebe s prekomerno telesno težo v poljščini in srbščini na osnovi anketnega gradiva primerjajo pomenski elementi jezikovne slike pojma debela oseba anketiranih Srbkinj in Srbov, nosilk in nosilcev srbskega jezika, z elementi jezikovne slike anketiranih Poljakinj in Poljakov, nosilk in nosilcev poljskega jezika, in da se na osnovi dobljenih rezultatov odgovori na vprašanje, ali je stereotip debela oseba univerzalen ali kulturno specifičen. Raziskava je pokazala, da anketirani v obeh jezikovnih kulturah pogosto uporabljajo nevtralne ali pozitivno vrednotene izraze za osebe s prekomerno telesno težo, med njimi otyły in z nadwagą v poljščini ali gojazan in opisni poimenovanji osoba sa viškom kilograma ali prekomerno uhranjen v srbščini. Pogostost nevtralnih in evfemističnih izrazov kaže na spremembe v stereotipizaciji pojma debela oseba pod vplivom družbenih sprememb, gibanja body positive in drugih družbenih pobud ali medicinskega razumevanja debelosti kot bolezni. Pri čemer pa je perspektiva teh sprememb vprašljiva, vsaj v bližnji prihodnosti. Dosedanje raziskave namreč kažejo na precejšnjo prisotnost negativnih izrazov in moč globoko zakoreninjenih predsodkov do debelih oseb kot zajetnih, zaobljenih, okornih, neprivlačnih ipd. Primerjava anketnih ugotovitev za srbščino in poljščino je pokazala, da ne obstajajo bistvene razlike v načinih poimenovanj in stališčih anketiranih do oseb s prekomerno telesno težo, kar je lahko poveden pokazatelj univerzalnosti stereotipa debela oseba v slovanskih jezikih. Za natančnejše ugotovitve bodo potrebne dodatne primerjalne raziskave v drugih slovanskih jezikih, v daljši perspektivi tudi v neslovanskih.

of the journal’s existence, Naš jezik can boast many published papers that

its norms, and linguistic culture. Since the journal focuses on synchronic
studies, there are fewer etymological works between its covers. Still, there is
a signifi cant number of papers in which the authors consider the past of words
(expressions or syntactic constructions), go into etymology and diachrony,
reconstruct their origin, and deal with the history of the development of
form, meaning, and use.
AB  - Рад се заснива на презентацији етимолошких тумачења у чланцима
објављеним у часопису Наш језик, од његовог оснивања 1932. до 2022. године. Из данашње перспективе, након деведесет година постојања часописа,
Наш језик се може похвалити великим бројем објављених радова у којима
се разматрају различита питања српског односно српскохрватског језика,
његове норме и језичке културе. Пошто је по програму часопис примарно
оријентисан на синхронијске студије, међу његовим корицама се нашао мањи
број етимолошких радова, међутим велики је број оних у којима аутори приликом анализе речи (израза или синтаксичке конструкције) иду за њиховом
прошлошћу, залазе у етимологију и дијахронију, реконструишу њихово порекло и/или баве се историјом развоја облика, значења и употребе.

Проучавање имена цвећа као специфичног лексичког фонда посматране песме у прози има за циљ да допринесе разумевању стила и језика писца.
AB  - The paper will observe a specific onomastic layer – personified proper names in the poem NIGHT (1918) by Ivo Andrić (from the cycle WHAT I DREAM AND WHAT HAPPENS TO ME). It deals with general names for flowers which, according to the rule, are written with a lowercase letter in the Serbian language, but with a capital one in the poetic text and are personified (e.g. Sunflower – tall and tough cavalier; Red carnation – proud and fertile; Mignonettes – caring young housewives, etc.). The aim of the paper is to examine the stylistic process of personification. The theme and atmosphere of a distinctive dreaming-vision of the poem NIGHT (1918) is like in the cycle WHAT I DREAM AND WHAT HAPPENS TO ME: in the poem, the motif of the sun with its symbolism takes a significant position – flowers in the garden longing for the sun, the source of life, and cannot wait for the dawn (The day is only a memory, and the sun is a dream.). Examining the onomastic layer as the specific lexical fund of the observed poem in prose aims at contributing to the understanding of the writer's style and language.

 априла 2022. године, један је од четири у циклусу концерата ове групе на чијем је програму проширен репертоар овог ансамбла. Поред стандардног програма ког чине (превасходно сеоске) традиционалне песме Срба из различитих геокултурних области, у овај циклус концерата уврштене су и песме других европских (и једног евроазијског) народа. Циљ овакве концепције био је представљање изузетних  примера српске вокалне традиције, од најстаријег, обредног слоја (са Косова и Метохије, из западне, источне и централне Србије и из Хрватске) до новијих песама, насталих током XIX и ХХ века (нпр. песме Срба из Мађарске). Програмом су обухваћене и обредне и различите лирске песме из Пољске, Литваније, Украјине, Грузије и Русије. У тексту је реч о настанку, научном и извођачком усмерењу, раду и репертоару групе „Моба”, а његов значајан део чине коментари за поједине песме изведене на концерту.
AB  - The concert of the female vocal group “Moba” (Belgrade) in the Hall of SASA Branch in Novi Sad, on the 13th April 2022 is one of the group’s four concerts in the cycle that encompass widened repertoire of this ensemble. Beside the standard program consisted of (primarily rural) traditional songs of the Serbs from different geo-cultural areas, this concert cycle encompasses also songs of other European and Eurasian peoples. The aim of such conception was representing of extraordinary examples of the Serbian vocal tradition, from the oldest, ritual layer (from Kosovo and Metohija, West, East and Central Serbia and from Croatia) to newer songs, formed in the course of the 19th and 20th centuries (like songs of the Serbs from Hungary and from other regions). The program includes ritual and different lyrical songs from Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia, and Russia. The subject of the article is forming of the “Moba” group, its scholar and 
performing orientation, work and repertoire. There are also comments to particular songs performed at the concert.
