AB  - Four samples containing magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (MIONs) of various sizes are prepared employing a simple low-temperature method of oxidative precipitation from FeCl2∙4H2O-NaOH-NaNO3 aqueous solution. For the preparation of two samples, the usual oxidation-precipitation synthesis protocol is modified by using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) chelating agent as a stabilizer of the Fe2+ ions in a solution, which results in the partial capping of the prepared MIONs with EDTA molecules. Three out of four samples are subjected to citric acid (CA) functionalization in the post synthesis protocol. Structural and magnetic properties of the synthesized MIONs are assessed using various experimental techniques (XRD, TEM, Fourier transform infrared, dynamic light scattering, Mössbauer, and SQUID). The average size of spherical-like MIONs is tuned from 7 nm to 38 nm by changing the synthesis protocol. Their room temperature saturation magnetization, M s, is in the range of 43 to 91 emu g−1. Magnetic heating ability, expressed via specific absorption rate value, which ranges from 139 to 390 W/gFe, is discussed in relation to their structural and magnetic properties and the possible energy dissipation mechanisms involved. The best heating performance is exhibited by the sample decorated with EDTA and with a bimodal size distribution with average particle sizes of 14 and 37 nm and M s = 87 emu g−1. Though this sample contains particles prone to form aggregates, capping with EDTA provides good colloidal stability of this sample, thus preserving the magnetic heating ability. It is demonstrated that two samples, consisting of 7 nm-sized CA- or 14 nm-sized EDTA/CA-functionalized superparamagnetic MIONs, with a similar hydrodynamic radius, heat in a very similar way in the relatively fast oscillating alternating current magnetic field, f = 577 kHz.

The most common applications of non-invasive FES are the restoration of standing and walking, the generation of cyclic movements for pedaling or rowing, and manipulation and grasping.

AB  - The study examines the model of the establishment of a Serbian political, spiritual and scriptural center in Serres during three decades of Serbian rule (1345–1371). The model is considered against two circumstances: historical – the anathema of the Serbian ruler, patriarch and archbishops, and geographical – the proximity of Serres to Mount Athos and the Bulgarian Empire. There are three important focuses of the work: the Four Gospels of Metropolitan Jacob, the books donated to the Sinai monks and the activity of monk Isai in the circle of secular and ecclesiastical aristocracy in Serres. By pointing out certain characteristics of the book of Metropolitan Jacob, the unique program of the Serbian ruler and the Serbian church is sketched. Although exceptional individuals dedicated to literature stayed in Serres, the connection with the scriptoria on Mount Athos and those in the central part of the Serbian Empire raises the question to what extent we can speak of the existence of a developed Slavic scriptorium in Serres.

AB  - In 1956, the Institute of Archaeology and the National Museum in Belgrade 
carried out excavations at the site of Supska, near Ćuprija, in Central Serbia. Based on 
the material culture findings, the site is mostly known as a Late Neolithic one; however, archaeological findings from other periods were discovered too. In the 1956 excavations, the cultural layers, and archaeological features with the Vinča culture archaeological materials were examined, as well as one grave, marked as Grave 1. The results of this excavation have been previously published in one monograph; however, an anthropological analysis of the individual found in Grave 1 has not been conducted before. In this paper, we present the results of contextual, bioanthropological, stable isotopes and C14 analyses of human skeletal remains found in Grave 1. The results showed that a young adult, who had experienced nonspecific metabolic stress during childhood, as evidenced by traces of linear enamel hypoplasia and porotic hyperostosis, was buried in this grave. AMS date revealed that this individual lived between 1280–1390 cal. AD, while the results of the stable isotope analyses suggested that it had mixed diet 
based on C4  plants (such as millet) and/or C3 plants, with larger amounts of animal 
protein, possible deriving from freshwater fish.

AB  - This paper explores the manipulative power of political video discourse in election
campaigns from 2016 to 2020 by using critical discourse analysis and the cognitive
linguistic theory of conceptual metaphors. The manipulative power of the discourse
is revealed through micro and macro analysis during the studied period. The corpus
of the research consists of videos used in election campaigns, television broadcasts,
including the ones archived on the official YouTube channels. Since 1990, the year
relevant for the onset of democratic elections, to this day, the sub-genre of a video
within the advertising and propaganda genre in political discourse has been largely
altered: thus, it is noted that it has abundantly been used in election campaigns since
2016, with more significant investments into production, becoming more diversified in
terms of topics and content. These alterations are compliant with political objectives
and shaped according to the manipulative and persuasive strategies which are the
inherent component of the advertising and propaganda genre in general. The aim of
this paper is to demonstrate all stylistic and linguistic means that have a manipulative
nature. It has been demonstrated that persuasive and manipulative aims in this discourse
are accomplished by using various conceptual metaphors, but also with vulgarization
(the corpus contains a video where the sexual orientation of a candidate is topicalized),
celebrity endorsements (prominent people appear as political candidate, promoters),
and aggressive self-promotion.
AB  - Користећи се критичком анализом дискурса, као и когнитивнолингвистичком теоријом појмовних метафора, у овом раду бавимо се манипулативном моћи дискурса политичког спота у предизборним кампањама од 2016. 
до 2020. године. Манипулативна моћ дискурса разоткрива се микро и макро 
анализом спотова из посматраног периода. Корпус за ово истраживање чине 
спотови објављени у предизборним кампањама, емитовани на телевизији, али 
и архивирани на званичним каналима политичких странака на Јутјубу. Од 1990. 
године, референтнe године за почетак демократских избора, до данас, поджанр 
видео-спота у оквиру рекламно-пропагандног жанра у политичком дискурсу умногоме се изменио: тако је примећено да се од 2016. године обилато користи као 
део предизборне кампање, више се улаже у продукцију, а постаје и тематскосадржински разгранатији. Све ове промене подређене су политичким циљевима, а обликоване су према манипулативним и убеђивачким стратегијама, које су 
интегрални део рекламно-пропагандног жанра у целини. Циљ овог рада јесте 
показати сва језичко-стилска средства манипулативног карактера. Показало се 
да се убеђивачки и манипулативни циљеви у овом дискурсу постижу и различитим појмовним метафорама, али и вулгаризацијом (корпус бележи спот којим се 
тематизује сексуална оријентација изборног кандидата), естрадизацијом (јавне

AB  - The increasing demand for efficient catalysts has raised concerns about the limited availability and high cost of platinum group metal (PGM) catalysts. Ruthenium dioxide (RuO2) has shown remarkable catalytic activity; however, its extensive use is hindered by its high cost. To tackle this challenge, we investigated the utilization of zinc oxide (ZnO) as a promising alternative to reduce reliance on expensive RuO2 catalysts while maintaining catalytic performance by synthesizing ZnO/RuO2 composites in various mass ratios (1:1, 2:1, 10:1) through microwave processing of a precipitate, followed by calcination at temperatures of 300 and 600 °C. The crystallinity and phase purity of the particles were analyzed using Xray powder diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. Surface chemistry was examined by Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Field emission scanning electron microscopy was employed to investigate the morphology and particle size. Photoluminescence and UVVis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy were utilized for analyzing the optical properties. The electrocatalytic activity of the materials were evaluated via linear sweep voltammetry in both acidic (0.1 M H2SO4) and alkaline (0.1 M NaOH) electrolytes. The ZnO/RuO2 composites exhibited outstanding catalytic performance for both the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in both types of electrolytes.

AB  - After Belgrade Metropolitan Mihajlo’s (1704–1711) death, his creditors tried to charge their invested funds and interest from the two later metropolitans of Belgrade, Parthenius (1711–1713) and Moses Petrović (1713–1718). On the other hand, the late bishop’s son-in-law, a certain Jovanče, kept the inheritance of the deceased bishop and thus violated the privileges of the patriarch. Protecting the church’s property, Serbian Patriarch Athanasius I (1711–1712) presented these two cases before the Kadi of Belgrade and submitted several 160 petitions to the central government in Istanbul. While litigating with the late bishop’s credi tors, Patriarch Athanasius I failed to settle his tax obligations to the state for three fiscal years, jeopardizing the Serbian Church autocephaly. The appendix presents the content of eight orders issued by the financial administration in Istanbul in connection with this case.

AB  - During the Holy League War (1683-1699), the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Ottoman Empire practically ceased to exist. Work on its reconstruction commenced in 1691 by Patriarch Callinicos I (1691–1710) completely depended on the population and economic recovery of devasted areas. One of the first collaborators he welcomed into the synod of the renewed Serbian Patriarchate was Bishop Johnnicius of Niš and Toplica (1702–1734). Based on the content of one unpublished Ottoman document - an excerpt from the protocol of the tax department Piskopos Mukata‛ası Kalemi - the chronology of his church administration is accurately established in this article, as well as the previously unknown fact that Patriarch Arsenius Jovanović (1724–1748) was dissatisfied with the way the bishop managed finances in the Diocese of Niš and Toplica and appointed Bishop Symeon Popović to his position in 1731. Following the remonstrance of the Ottoman kadi and several officers of the garrison of Niš, the state authorities reversed this decree. The data in the notebook kept by Bishop Johnnicius about his earnings, outgoings, and loans, confirm that the Diocese of Niš and Toplica was in a state of perpetual financial deficit. With an annual income of roughly 1,600 thalers, it was possible to maintain the epis copal household and economy and to settle financial obligations to the state and the patriarch.

AB  - This paper deals with particular linguistic features in Timok variety of Prizren-Timok dialect zone. The features in focus are: 1) marking indirect object and possessor, 2) post-positive demonstratives/ articles, 3) particle si,, and 4) auxiliary omission in the perfect tense. Analysis included socio-geographic factors. Methodologies applied in the analysis included quantitative as well as corpus-based approach. Additionally, variations were observed in contemporary data from speakers across Timok  region.
AB  - Ovaj rad ima za cilj analizu specifičnih crta u timočkom varijetetu prizrensko-timoćke dijalekatske zone. Jezičke crte u fokusu su: 1) markiranje indirektnog objekta i posesora, 2) postpozitivne demosntrative/ članove, 3) partikulu si, 4) izostavljanje pomoćnog glagola u perfektu. Analiza uklučuje i socio-geografske faktore. Metodologiji analize pomenutih crta se pristupa iz kvantitativne i korpusne perspektive.  Varijacije su uoćčene u savremenim podacima dobijenim od govornika timoćkog regiona.

AB  - The aim of the paper is to present various steps in the process of data collection in the Torlak areas in Eastern Serbia and Western Bulgaria. In this article the linguonym Torlak refers to a complex of balkanized West South Slavic dialects spoken on the territories of the westernmost parts of Bulgaria, Eastern and Southern Serbia, and northern parts of North Macedonia. Additionally, this complex of dialects encompasses some insular South Slavic varieties spoken
in Romania and Bulgaria. The term Torlak in this article is not used to designate an endonym or exonym for the subethnic group to which its speakers belong.
AB  - Cilj ovog raa je da predstavi različite procese prilkom dokumentovanja građe sa torlačkog areala i Istočnoj Srbiji i Zapadnoj Bugarskoj. U ovom članku lingvonim Torlak se odnosi na kompleks balkanizovanih zapadno-slovenskih dijalekata koji se govore na teritoriji na samom zapadu Bugarsje, Istočne i Južne Srbije i severnom delu Severne Makedonije. AB  - The aim of this article is to investigate the sociolinguistic situation in parts of the Torlak dialect area—the Prizren-Timok dialect area in Serbia and the adjacent closely related dialects in Western
Bulgaria. We present the current state of research on Torlak in the domain of its general sociolinguistic situation, and provide an analysis and a synthesis of the previous and contemporary sociolinguistic approaches to Torlak as a whole and to its local varieties in Serbia and Bulgaria.
We address the issues of subjective differentiation among dialects along the border area between Serbia and Bulgaria as well as the types of linguistic situations and language perceptions in the area.
AB  - Cilj ovog članka je da istraži sociolingvističku situaciju u delu torlačke dijalekatske zone - prizrensko-timočke dijlekatske zone u Srbiji i njoj srpdnih dijalekata u Zapadnoj Bugarskoj. Prestavljena su aktuelna istraživanja PT dijalekatske zone u domenu njegove opšte sociolingvističke situacije,kao i analiza i sinteza prethodnih sociolingvističkih pristupa PT dijalekatskoj zoni kao celini i njenih lokalnih varijeteta u Srbiji i Bugarskoj. Ukazuje se na pitanja subjektivne diferencijacije među dijalektima uz granicu između Srbije i Bugarske kao i na tipove lingvističkig situacija i percepcija ovog areala.

AB  - The study aims to explore the factors underlying the non-canonical postnominal positioning of adnominal modifiers in the noun phrasе in the Gurbet Romani variety spoken in Еаstern Serbia. The noun phrases are excerpted from the Knjaževac Gurbet Romani corpus, which consists of adults’ and children’s samples of transcribed oral narratives. The quantitative analysis shows that the prenominal position of modifiers is the default one, given the low frequency of postposed modifiers in the adults’  and children’s samples (3.7% and 1.3%, respectively). The main part of the study is focused on the reasons for the non-canonical positioning of modifiers in the NP, and points towards several pragmatic factors as relevant for the postnominal positioning: the contrastive and information focus and stylistic effects.
AB  - Ова студија има за циљ да истражи услове који доводе до позиционирања адноминалних модификатора у постпозицију у именичкој фрази у гурбетском варијетету ромског језика којим се говори у источној Србији. Именичке фразе су ексцерпиране из књажевачког корпуса гурбетског варијетета ромског који се састоји од узорака транскрибованих усмених наратива одраслих и деце. Квантитативна анализа показује да је преноминална позиција модификатора типична, имајући у виду низак проценат модификатора у постноминалној позицији у узорку одраслих (3,7%) и деце (1,3%). AB  - У раду се анализирају преводилачки поступци Станислава Винавера у преводу романа Мала Дорит Чарлса Дикенса. Објављен средином 20. века, у времену интензивног и јавног Винаверовог интересовања за однос звучног и ритмичког у језику, превод Мале Дорит садржи низ дистинктивних, стваралачких елемената који га одликују како на парадигматском, тако и на синтагматском језичком плану. Оријентишући се на оказионализме као лексички сегмент на коме заснива своју преводилачку поетику, Винавер обогаћује превод Мале Дорит на два плана: творбеном (утицај фонетског симболизма творбених афикса на значење изведених речи које их садрже) и синтагматском (ритмичност, мелодиозност и репетиције и комбинације гласова у двочланим лексичким структурама превода у односу на текст изворника). На творбеном плану у Винаверовом преводу уочавају се глаголске, именичке и придевске изведенице настале уз помоћ префикса и суфикса који, поред семантичког, поседују и фоностилистички карактер (нпр. окретуцкати, песмуљчица и др.). На синтагматском плану из Винаверовог превода издвајају се двочлане лексичке структуре са когнатним облицима (типа сви су се зборови дозборили) као и сложене, фонетско-прозодијски мотивисане структуре (типа зацириктају ситна кврцкања). Свим наведеним средствима постиже се преводна еквиваленција са текстом оригинала, не само семантичка, већ и она која преноси експресивно значење изворног текста, што представља суштинску одлику Винаверовог преводилачког поступка. Преводом романа Мала Дорит Ч. Дикенса Винавер је заокружио своје ставове о ангажованом, културном превођењу у духу експресионизма, које је изграђивао у првој половини 20. века.
AB  - This paper deals with the translation strategies of Stanislav Vinaver applied in his Serbian translation of the novel Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens. Published in the mid-20th century, a period marked by Vinaver’s deep and public interest in the relationship between rhythm and sound in language, his translation of Little Dorrit contains a vast range of distinctive, highly creative linguistic features on both paradigmatic and syntagmatic planes. Oriented towards occasionalisms as a lexical segment underlying his poetics of translation, Vinaver enriched the translation of Little Dorrit with expressive features on two levels: word-formation (the impact of phonetic symbolism of word-formation affixes on the meaning of derivatives which contain them) and syntagmatic level (rhythm, melody and repetitions and combinations of sounds in bipartite lexical structures in Serbian translation as compared to the source text). Regarding word formation, Vinaver’s translation includes verbal, nominal and adjectival derivatives formed by prefixes and suffixes which, apart from their semantic content, also have a phonostylistic character (e.g. окретуцкати, песмуљчицa, etc.). On the syntagmatic plane are prominent the bipartite lexical structures with cognate forms (such as, for example, сви су се зборови дозборили), as well as complex, phonetically and prosodically motivated structures (such as, for example, зацириктају ситна кврцкања). All of these types of forms and structures are used in order to achieve translation equivalence with the source text that is not only semantic, but also that which transposes the expressive meaning of the source text, which represents the crux of Stanislav Vinaver’s approach to literary translation. In translating the novel Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens, Stanislav Vinaver showcased an elaborate programme of engaged, cultural translation in the vein of expressionism, which he had been developing in the first half of the 20th century.

На синтагматском плану из Винаверовог превода издвајају се двочлане лексичке структуре са когнатним облицима (типа сви су се зборови дозборили) као и сложене, фонетско-прозодијски мотивисане структуре (типа зацириктају ситна кврцкања). Свим наведеним средствима постиже се преводна еквиваленција са текстом оригинала, не само семантичка, већ и она која преноси експресивно значење изворног текста, што представља суштинску одлику Винаверовог преводилачког поступка. Дикенса Винавер је заокружио своје ставове о ангажованом, културном превођењу у духу експресионизма, које је изграђивао у првој половини 20. века., This paper deals with the translation strategies of Stanislav Vinaver applied in his Serbian translation of the novel Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens. The paper demonstrates continuity in the creation of this segment of the Serbian lexicon and points to its accelerated growth in the recent developmental period, as well as changes related to the emergence and increased productivity of new derivational types. It also addresses the trend of heightened expression of subjective meanings with a negative connotation, pejorative and ironic
undertones, which are characteristic of contemporary political discourse.

AB  - The paper discusses the planning possibilities of the future activi-ties of the journal "Novorečje" in the context of current trends in the field of neological lexicological studies as well as the field of modern online lexicography. This also includes recent trends – writing of scientific and popular texts on the blog and choice of -the "Word of the Year". The profile of the journal "Novoreč-je" was presented first, and then the characteristics and the signi-ficance of the "Word of the Year". It has been held in numerous languages and countries for many years. Therefore, the need to start a similar event in the Serbian language as part of "Novoreč-je" activities is also underlined and initiated.

Њен највећи део јесу снимци традиционалне народне музике с простора некадашње Југославије (посебно из Србије) и православног црквеног појања. По мањем обиму, али не мањем значају, истиче се колекција снимака серије предавања и дискусија о науци и уметности „Разговори”, коју су посећивали етаблирани интелектуалци тог времена. Предавања је организовао музиколог и композитор Драгутин Гостушки, чија је плодна научна и критичка делатност везана за Музиколошки институт САНУ. Колекција је настала у време његовог директорског мандата (1974–1978), а тонски ју је забележила сарадница Института, етномузиколог Ана Матовић. Овом постер презентацијом представићемо основне техничке и садржајне карактеристике снимака „Разговора” похрањених и дигитализованих у Музиколошком институту САНУ.
AB  - The Institute of Musicology SASA has an extremely rich collection of documentary recordings on tapes, created between the 1950s and the 1990s. The biggest part of this collection comprises recordings of traditional folk music from the former Yugoslavia (especially from Serbia) and Orthodox church chanting. Smaller in size, but no less important, is the collection of recordings of the series of lectures and discussions on science and art “Conversations”, which was frequented by established intellectuals of that time. These lectures were organized by the musicologist and composer Dragutin Gostuški, whose fruitful scientific and critical activity was tied to the Institute of Musicology SASA. The collection was created during his directorship (1974– 1978), and it was recorded by ethnomusicologist Ana Matović, herself an Associate of the Institute. With this poster presentation, we will present the basic technical and content characteristics of the recordings of “Conversations”, stored and digitized at the Institute of Musicology SASA.

По мањем обиму, али не мањем значају, истиче се колекција снимака серије предавања и дискусија о науци и уметности „Разговори”, коју су посећивали етаблирани интелектуалци тог времена. Предавања је организовао музиколог и композитор Драгутин Гостушки, чија је плодна научна и критичка делатност везана за Музиколошки институт САНУ. Колекција је настала у време његовог директорског мандата (1974–1978), а тонски ју је забележила сарадница Института, етномузиколог Ана Матовић. Овом постер презентацијом представићемо основне техничке и садржајне карактеристике снимака „Разговора” похрањених и дигитализованих у Музиколошком институту САНУ., The Institute of Musicology SASA has an extremely rich collection of documentary recordings on tapes, created between the 1950s and the 1990s. The biggest part of this collection comprises recordings of traditional folk music from the former Yugoslavia (especially from Serbia) and Orthodox church chanting. Smaller in size, but no less important, is the collection of recordings of the series of lectures and discussions on science and art “Conversations”, which was frequented by established intellectuals of that time. These lectures were organized by the musicologist and composer Dragutin Gostuški, whose fruitful scientific and critical activity was tied to the Institute of Musicology SASA. The collection was created during his directorship (1974– 1978), and it was recorded by ethnomusicologist Ana Matović, herself an Associate of the Institute. With this poster presentation, we will present the basic technical and content characteristics of the recordings of “Conversations”, stored and digitized at the Institute of Musicology SASA.",
