Говор хране је увек аутентичан, а системи исхране су различити, будући да сведоче о дубокој и интензивној повезаности гастрономије са целокупном културном баштином и њеним развојем, као и са идентитетским променама., This study is based on different theories of food culture which is in turn influenced by a great number of factors including social, historical, climatic and other. The message of food is always unique, while the systems of food are different. This situation reflects the direct inner feelings that test to the deep and intense connection between gastronomy and the overall culture heritage, its development and the identity changes. The eating habits can be a reliable record of the past. Through food, during the ritual events and celebration of holidays throughout the year, archaic elements are preserved. It can be said that food (both the type and its symbolism) are one of the most consistent elements of rituals. Serbia has always been the country for agriculture and livestock. This left a mark on the food culture, and most of these traditions still exist today. Significant changes occurred after the World War II, when Serbian people from Banija, Lika, Kordun, some parts of Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo and Metohija colonized the territory of Vojvodina. People in Vojvodina accepted the influences of other cultures, absorbing only as much that wouldn’t threaten the origins and survival of their tradition and food culture. There are regional and traditional differences in food culture as well as the rural and urban ones. Food used in rituals and traditional customs has so many unique features. Recipes are passed down from one generation to another and are almost always altered in every household. The food culture with all its unique characteristics and tastes of times long passed is experiencing its renaissance and shows no signs of weakening.",
