AB  - The Institute of Ethnography of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts has an extensive
folklore collection, containing mainly folk songs, but also other folklore literary genres from all around
the former Yugoslavia, which were collected immediately after World War 2. This archival material
provides an insight into one of the most dynamic transitional periods of Yugoslav history and can be
valuable for the future study and understanding of social phenomena, processes, and events by which it
was marked. The Institute of Ethnography SASA has recognized the significance of this collection and
has initiated efforts for its systematization and digitalization. The ongoing project The Creation of the
Digital Database of the Folklore Collection of IE SASA started in 2022 as a result of a joint effort of a
group of IE SASA personnel and the engineer Branislav Tomić. The Project is developed with the
financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.
The paper aims to present the results achieved within the first project year, with a focus put on the
description and use of the database and its web application. There will be discussed the process of our
work and the challenges encountered, as well as the main directions in which we plan to improve both
the Database of the Folklore Collection of IE SASA and its web application.

AB  - Етнографски институт САНУ поседује богату фолклорну збирку са око двадесет
хиљада архивираних народних песама. Сакупљане су у периоду од 1947. до 1951. године на територији тадашње Југославије, а испеване су на различитим јужнословенским језицима и на албанском језику. Ова драгоцена грађа пружа увид у један динамичан период новије историје региона, те је недавно у Етнографском институту САНУ започет рад на њеној систематизацији и дигитализацији, као и на изради дигиталне базе ових песма, чије истраживање ће свакако допринети сагледавању разних друштвених феномена, процеса и догађаја који су обележили период Другог светског рата и време непосредно након њега: ратна дешавања, период транзиције ка социјалистичком друштвеном уређењу, послератну изградњу земље и њену индустријализацију, радне акције, али и интензивну употребу народних песама као оруђа за агитацију и идеолошку пропаганду. Сем поменутих, ту су и епске песме које тематизују борбу против Турака, Балканске ратове и Први светски рат, али и многобројне лирске песме: љубавне, еротске, шаљиве, обредне (аграрне, сватовске, славске и друге).
У раду указујемо на значај ове архивске збирке, те пружамо увид у њено тренутно
стање, али и у изазове с којима смо се до сада сусрели током рада на систематизацији и
дигитализацији првих 500 песама. Рад на дигитализацији збирке је започет недавно у оквиру пројекта под називом Израда дигиталне базе народних песама из архиве Етнографског института САНУ, који суфинансирају Министарство за културу и информисање Републике Србије и Етнографски институт САНУ. Укратко ћемо описати процес и фазе израде дигиталне базе, као и могућности које ће она пружати корисницима. Циљ поменутог пројекта је да сачува и заштити документацију из ове збирке, као и да истраживачима и заинтересованој јавности понуди лако доступну и корисну алатку за приступ збирци и омогући претраге по речима или корену речи присутних у песмама, као и по метаподацима који ће бити унесени за сваку песму.

AB  - Slovenians have lived for centuries in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.  Between  the  16th century  and  the  mid-19th century,  they  took  part  in wars and battles for the liberations of Serbia and Belgrade, mainly as individuals. In the second half of the 19th century, a more massive immigration of Slovenian population in the territory of the present-day Serbia took place and this trend reached its peak at the beginning of World War II, when about  10,000  Slovenians  were  forced  to  settle  there  as  refugees.  Also,  in the  post-war  period,  a  large  number  of  Slovenians  settled  in  Serbia, especially  in Vojvodina,  as  part  of  a  planned  colonization  scheme.  Although  a  certain  number  of  them  returned  to  Slovenia, a  majority  decided  to stay in the territory of Serbia and started a new life there. In the new environment, temporary or permanent, Slovenians began to organize their life. They adjusted themselves to the lifestyle of their new living environment, but  they  also  organized  themselves  into  associations,  through  which  they maintained  contacts  with  their  homeland.  By  the  1990s,  the  Slovenian population in Serbia mainly lived intermingled with other nations from the common  state,  SFR  Yugoslavia.  After  the  dissolution  of  Yugoslavia  and the formation of independent states, Slovenians in Serbia became an ethnic minority  and  they  began  to  establish  their  associations  upon  different  bases.  Based  on  archival  data,  literature  and  papers  resulting  from  research  projects  conducted  by  Serbian  and  Slovenian  scholars,  as  well  as  results  of  their  joint  research,  the  paper  deals  with  Slovenians  in  Belgrade and  their  associations  since  the  second  half  of  the  19th century  until  the present day. Having in mind the ongoing research on the Slovenians in the territory of Serbia and an easier access to data on associations established since  1997,  this  study  particularly  focuses  on  Slovenian associations  that used to be active in the past but ceased to exist.
AB  - U radu se govori o beogradskim Slovencima i njihovim udruženjima od početka 20. veka do danas, na osnovu podataka iz arhivske građe, literature, objavljenih istraživačkih radova na projektima srpskih i slovenačkih naučnika i rezultata zajedničkog istraživanja. S obzirom na aktuelna istraživanja o Slovencima na teritoriji Srbije i lakšu dostupnost podataka o društvima formiranim od 1997. godine nadalje, u radu je veća pažnja posvećena slovenačkim društvima i njihovoj delatnosti, koja su postojala u ranijem periodu i koja više ne postoje.
