Спектакли XX века: политичке арене и културне сцене у Србији

Abstract

У овом раду, етнолошка истраживања се фокусирају на свакодневицу спектакла, тј. на „друштво спектакла“, које се представља као еруптивна реалност, комуникативна мрежа и тржиште моћи. Међутим, на балканским просторима у време кризе и транзиције, спектакли су постали друштвена драма и отворени театар живота, са често трагичним последицама. Моја дугогодишња истраживања масовних скупова у Србији усмерена су на читање феномена спектакла у дискурзивном пољу разноврсних ритуалних пракси и симболичке мреже. Многобројна исксуства актера и медијска презентација увели су политичке и културне позорнице у историјско поље догађаја. Њихов линерани код и реверзибилност кроз евокативну призму исписали су странице новије историје, а такође умногоме изменили и обликовали спектакл као својеврсно друштвено огледало.

This paper focuses on „society of spectacles“, seen as eruptive reality, communicative market and power market. However, in the Balkans, in the times of crisis and transition, these spectacles have become a social drama and an open theatre of life with frequent tragic consequences. My long-term research, started in 1992, on mass gatherings in Serbia are directed to phenomenon of spectacle in the light of various ritual practices and symbolic net. A number of experiences by participants and media presentation have brought in political and cultural stages into play. Their linear code and reversibility through an evocative prism have written pages of recent history, and for the most part, altered and shaped a spectacle as a particular reflection of a given society. In the past five years, the research covered several phases: 1. retrospection of political manifestations and music events in socialist period (parades, festivals of popular music…); 2. research on political rallies and cultural scene in the times of crisis and transition (political meetings, demonstrations, rallies, musical settings as instruments of political campaigns etc.); 3. research of music events as case studies: EXIT festival in Novi Sad and Dragacevo’s trumpet festival.
