Придеви с наставком -иони

Abstract

The author elaborates on word formation and meaning of the adjectives ending in -iOni derived from foreign nouns ending in -ija (e.g. akcija - akcioni ’action’, opozicija — Opozicioni ’opposition’, which in Latin end in -io, -ionis: actio, actionis; oppositio, oppositionis). The analysis of nearly 300 such adjectives demonstrates that: 1) These adjectives are used in (standard) Serbian, in contrast to Croatian, where they are fully eliminated by being replaced by normative linguists and language editors with the alternative forms ending in -ski (akcijsk, opozicijski); 2) The Serbian standard most frequently uses the forms with the ending -ioni, and only seldom the forms with the ending -ski; 3) Dual endings, i.e. -ioni/-ski tend to differentiate semantically (akciOni : akcijski ’action’, redakcioni : redakcijski ’ editorial’).

У овом раду разматра се творба и значење придева с наставком -иони (акциони, опозициони, редакциони, и сл.). Уз испитивање порекла самог наставка, посебна се пажња посвећује значењу тих придева у поређењу с придевским изведеницама од истих основа с наставком -скп (акциони : акцијски, редакциони : редакцијски, диозициони : опозицијски) као и њиховом статусу у савременом српском језичком стандарду (у поређењу с хрватским, где су облици на -иони потиснути из употребе).
