Концепт Речника САНУ у свјетлости огледних свески из 1913. И 1944. године

Abstract

Аутор се у овом раду бави огледним издањима Речника Српске академије наука. Огледи су настали у првој половини XX вијека, а имали су за циљ да дају концепцију рјечника српског језика на основу обимне савремене грађе. Огледи се посматрају изнутра, утврђује се њихова концепција, дефинише лексикографски домашај и одређује њихов значај у развоју српске лексикографске мисли.

The lexicographical activity in the Lexicographical Department of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences was marked by the appearance of two exemplary volumes in the first half of the 20th century. Their compilation aimed at a lexicographical survey of the existent material, and at a formation of an exemplary edition that could serve as the concept of the new, contemporary dictionary of the Serbian language based on Stojan Novaković’s ideas from 1888. The first exemplary volume appeared in 1913, and its proponent was Momčilo Ivanić. In the exemplary edition entitled The Serbian Dictionary of the Standard and Vernacular Language Based on the Material of the Lexicographical Department of the Serbian Royal Academy, Ivanić did not offer a clear concept of the compilation of the new dictionary. The new concept, based on far ampler lexicographical material, appeared in 1944. The volume was published under the title The Dictionary of the Serbian Standard and Vernacular Language; it bears the common stamp of a number of authors, and the greatest weight in conceptual and lexicographical formation was borne by Professor Radosav Bošković. The 1944 exemplary volume presents a very clear methodological conception of the future Serbian Academy dictionary, based on the lexicographical analysis of the existent material with an application of linguistic criteria. This volume exerted a considerable influence on the formation of the final conception of The Dictionary of the Serbo-Croatian Standard and Vernacular Language.
