Молитва у селу Добри До: прилог проучавању нематеријалног културног наслеђа пиротског краја

Abstract

Молитва или „давање молитве“ веома је раширен обичај ритуалног клања овце или јагњета и приношења колективне жртве на простору Старе планине. Током последњих деценија нестао је у неким селима, док је у другим наставио да се одржава упркос све мањем броју мештана и тешкоћама које прате његово одржавање. У овом раду биће представљени резултати етнографских истраживања прикупљани у периоду између 2017. и 2023. године у селу Добри До код Пирота. Молитва се овде даје на Ускрс готово један век без прекида, што сведочи о потреби заједнице да одржи обичај кроз генерације и различите идеолошке и друштвене промене. У раду се анализирају подаци забележени током теренских истраживања за време самог обичаја, као и интервјуи који су током година обављени са организаторима, женама које припремају молитву, колачарима и онима који последњих година долазе у све већем броју из других места да би присуствовали обичају.

Molitva (Praying) or giving a molitva is a very widespread custom of ritually slaughtering a sheep or lamb and making a collective sacrifice in the area of Stara Planina (Balkan mountains). During the last decades, it disappeared in some villages, while in others it continued to be maintained despite the decreasing number of residents and the difficulties that accompany its maintenance. This paper represents the result of research on molitva in the village of Dobri Do near Pirot. Molitva has been offered here on Easter for almost a century without interruption, which testifies to the need of the community to maintain the custom through generations and various ideological and social changes. The paper analyzes data recorded during field research between 2017 and 2023. The data was collected during the custom itself, through interviews conducted over the years with the organizers, women who prepare the molitva, „cake makers“ („kolačars“ – the hosts of the celebration) and those who in recent years have come in increasing numbers from other cities to attend the custom. The research results open up some theoretical questions, questioning the concept of the village as a ritual-religious community. It has been shown that the “borders of the village” are not clearly defined today due to the constant circulation of the population between the village and the city and the maintenance of strong connections between emigrants and Dobri Do as their birthplace. Dobri Do is an excellent example of a village that no longer functions as an existential community, and even less as a productive or kinship community, but the locals, nevertheless, show great determination to preserve this ritual-religious practice, in which they succeed with minor reductions and transformations.
