Варваризми као маргинални лексички слој

Abstract

У раду ће се на ограниченом и лексикографски описаном корпусу анализирати лексика са квалификатором варваризам (варв.) којим лексикографи сигнализирају да се ради о нестандардној, маргиналној лексици. Задатак ће бити да се утврде критеријуми због којих нека лексема носи овај квалификатор, да се установи припадност ове лексике одређеним тематским областима, као и да се одреде лексичко-семантичке групе којима такве лексеме припадају.

The paper describes lexemes with the qualifier barbarism, based on a corpus taken from the Dictionary of the Serbo-Croatian literary language. The conclusion made by analyzing the word corpus was that all of the lexemes in the Dictionary qualified as barbarisms connect to different parts of the material and spiritual world. This means that certain things, belonging to these realities, appeared at one point and therefore needed to be named. For a certain amount of time some of these words managed to stay in language use, and then be replaced with new lexemes. Some of these words were successfully incorporated into the lexical system of the Serbian language. Normatively speaking, some of these words are still defined as barbarisms, although they have a regular use in everyday language and a widely spread derivation. Due to changes in the language reality or the influence of new words, some barbarisms change their status from non-standard lexemes to status-neutral words.
