Библијска и апокрифна подлога Пролошког житија светог пророка Јеремије

Abstract

У овом раду разматра се утицај старозаветних књига и једног апокрифа на Пролошко житије светог пророка Јеремије. Ово житије среће се углавном у стиховним пролозима за месец мај. Осим тога, оно се понекад јавља и у преписима Службе светом пророку Јеремији. У сачуваним српским преписима овог житија, настајалим између ХIV и ХVII века, запажа се релативна блискост уз поједина одступања, која су резултат два одвојена словенска превода, једног српског и другог бугарског, насталог у оквиру трновске књижевне школе. Поред ових двеју варијанти Житија јавља се и трећа, која се налази у препису Кипријана Рачанина, исписаном 1692. године у Сентандреји у оквиру Службе светом пророку Јеремији. Дело је написано под делимичним утицајем старозаветне Књиге пророка Јеремије. У првом делу Кипријановог преписа Житије се подудара са варијантом из пролога, али је добило и знатно проширење, које је углавном састављено према посебној варијанти апокрифне Повести пророка Јеремије о плењењу Јерусалима. У додатку рада налазе се приређени текстови све три варијанте.

The paper examines the influence of Old Testament books and an apocryphal writing on the Prologue Vita of the Holy Prophet Jeremiah. This hagiography is usually found in prologues in verse for the month of May. Furthermore, it is sometimes encountered in the manuscript copies of the Service to the Holy Prophet Jeremiah. In the surviving Serbian manuscript copies of his hagiography, dating from between the 14th and 17th centuries, it is possible to observe a relative similarity, despite some divergences that are due to the fact that there existed two independent Slavic translations – one Serbian and the other Bulgarian, created within the Tarnovo Literary School. Along with these two variants of the hagiography, there is a third version, which can be found in the manuscript copy of Kiprijan Račanin (Cyprian of Rača), printed in 1692 at Szentendre as part of the Service to the Holy Prophet Jeremiah. The composition was partially written under the influence of the Old Testament Book of Jeremiah. The first section of Kiprijan’s manuscript copy of the Hagiography corresponds to the variant included in the prologue, but it was considerably expanded and the amended sections mainly followed the model of a specific variant of the apocryphal Story of the Prophet Jeremiah about the Pillage of Jerusalem. The appendix presents the edited texts of all three variants.
