Коме треба антрополошка лингвистика у Србији данас? Пример креирања Дигиталног звучног архива Балканолошког института САНУ

Abstract

У раду се разматра развој антрополошке лингвистике у Србији и указује се на њен маргинализовани статус у домаћим научним и образовним установа-ма. У уводном делу се излажу основне одлике ове области у антропологији, а затим се представљају активности тима антрополошких лингвиста и антро-полога окупљених на пројектима Балканолошког института САНУ. У дру-гом делу, представља се један значајан резулатат вишедеценијских терен-ских истраживања мултикултурних и вишејезичних заједница у централној и југоисточној Европи – Дигитални звучни архив Балканолошког института, скраћено ДАБИ.

In this paper we outlined the development of anthropological linguistics in Serbia and pointed at its marginalisation within the Serbian scientific and educational institutions. In the introductory part, we described the key characteristics of anthropological linguistics as a separate discipline within anthropology. Then, we presented the activities of the team composed of anthropologists and anthropological linguists who are engaged in the SASA Balkan Institute’s projects. In the second part, we presented a significant result of the more than a decade-long fieldwork among multiethnic, multilingual, multiconfessional communities of Central and South-East Europe – the Digital Archive of the Balkan Institute of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts, abb. DABI. Finally, we pointed at possibilities and perspectives regarding the DABI development and its utilisation for scientific, educational and museum purposes.
