Једно могуће читање Петријиног венца : књижевно дело као етнодијалекатски текст

Abstract

У раду се указује на могућност ишчитавања књижевног дела као етнодијалекатског текста, те његовог коришћења као етнолингвистичког извора, а што се поткрепљује пода- цима и ставовима садржаним у прилозима припадника српске етнолингвистичке школе. Ову могућност нуди најзна- чајније литерарно остварење Драгослава Михаиловића – Петријин венац.

A novel could be interpreted at many different levels. This paper points out to a possible reading of a novel as an ethno-dialectic text, taking the most significant literary work by Dragoslav Mihailovic - Petrija’s Venac - as an example. In addition, the argument is strengthening by data and attitudes from individuals belonging to the Serbian ethno-linguistic school of thought. The novel Petrija’s Venac offers a number of typical linguistic and speech particulars from the given geographic area. We leave it to the future, to ethnolinguists and ethnologists to judge if such a work, interpreted in this way, could serve as a valid and equal ethno-linguistic source. It appears, though, this is not just a pretentious conclusion, since the novel presents valuable sources that should not be neglected by any discipline.
