Партикуле и њихови функционални еквиваленти (лексичко-семантичке и функционалне карактеристике)

Abstract

This paper is applying a pragmatic-cognitive approach for description of the structure of lexical meaning of particles and their functional characteristics in content prorary Serbian language. It has been established that the lexical meaning of particles is constitued by communicational and pragmatic elements of categorial meanings of modality and logic relations, on the basis of which particles are grouped into paradigms with different meanings. Each meaning may be treated as a basic element of definition for identification of designations for any particular lexemes. At the communication level, particles are primarily dedicated to realization of the function of proposition modification or modification of its individual segments.
